Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and engagement; address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; deliver exceptional service; conduct safety walks and camera reviews; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; prioritize safe environments.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 5+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, operations, and financial oversight. Passion for pets, strong decision-making, and ability to thrive in dynamic settings required. Experience in pet retail highly preferred.
