Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial outcomes, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and uphold our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, terminations; build open-door culture; create schedules; facilitate development, reviews, recognition; delegate and empower teams; address grievances.
Overall Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets and exceptional service; respond to concerns; improve processes; partner on events; maintain standards via walks; manage inventory; review cameras for safety; handle sick pets.
Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; adapt to changes.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong people skills, pet care knowledge, financial acumen, and operational expertise. Must excel in communication, coaching, and driving results in a fast-paced pet retail setting.
