Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values in Orillia, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, interview, hire, coach, and terminate; build open-door culture; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; recognize achievements.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets; manage pet parent interactions; improve processes; lead events and compliance; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; handle openings/closings.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and development, customer service expertise, operational knowledge, and passion for pets. Skills include effective delegation, conflict resolution, financial acumen, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.
