Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with engagement tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; handle escalations; lead events and compliance walks; manage inventory and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on community initiatives like adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, operations, and financial acumen. Passion for pets, flexibility for varied shifts, and commitment to safety/compliance are essential. Strong communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills required.
