Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; deliver outstanding customer service; manage inventory and compliance; conduct safety walks and camera reviews.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate on events and adoptions; communicate financial goals; prioritize safe environments for associates, pets, and customers.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, pet care knowledge, and financial savvy. Must excel in customer service, HR processes, and operational efficiency. Flexible availability required.
