Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage complaints, conduct safety walks, and maintain inventory standards.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and optimize processes for continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, and expertise in sales driving, team motivation, and operational efficiency. Key skills include strategic thinking, conflict resolution, and fostering engagement.
