Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards, conduct safety walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for accountability.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies, analyze financials, optimize processes, and collaborate on events with adoption groups.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team motivation, conflict resolution, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced retail setting.
