Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, and deliver exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead customer interactions; conduct safety walks and maintain compliance.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; manage inventory and events.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, and skills in financial oversight, team motivation, and process improvement. Philadelphia location offers dynamic community engagement opportunities.
