Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, and performance management. Build an open-door culture, create schedules, facilitate training, and ensure timely associate reviews. Delegate effectively, cascade information, and celebrate team achievements to drive engagement.
Overall Store Experience
Lead pet parent interactions across channels, prioritize safety for associates, pets, and customers. Conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, review cameras for compliance, and partner on community events like adoptions. Ensure seamless store openings/closings and immediate action on pet health issues.
Business Management
Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance metrics, communicate objectives, and continuously improve processes for optimal results.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, and P&L management. Key skills include strong leadership, problem-solving, inventory control, and fostering a safety-first culture. Passion for pets and retail operations is essential; flexible availability required.
