Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets and exceptional service; manage escalations, conduct Core/Services Walks, review cameras, and maintain inventory/compliance.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, optimize processes, and partner on events/adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer focus, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Must excel in delegation, communication, and adapting to dynamic environments. Flexible scheduling required.
