Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with engagement tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and customers; lead pet parent interactions; conduct compliance walks; manage inventory and events; oversee opening/closing procedures.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance metrics; communicate objectives; respond to operational changes.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and development, expertise in customer service and conflict resolution, proficiency in financial analysis and inventory control, and a passion for pet care.
