Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, training, mentoring, and succession planning. Build an open-door culture, address grievances, and celebrate engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and parents. Lead pet parent interactions, improve processes, partner on events, conduct walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for accountability.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability by executing strategies, analyzing performance, communicating objectives, and responding to sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and development, customer service expertise, operational knowledge, and financial acumen. Passion for pets, ability to delegate, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential.
