Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial outcomes, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and uphold our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, terminations; build open-door culture; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, mentoring, and succession planning; recognize achievements.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets; manage pet parent interactions; improve processes; lead events; maintain standards via monthly walks; prioritize safety; oversee inventory and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; adapt to changes.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pet care. Must excel in delegation, feedback response, compliance, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.
