Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions; ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; conduct monthly walks; monitor cameras; manage inventory and events.
- Operational Excellence: Drive financial outcomes; evaluate processes; ensure policy compliance; respond to sick pets and escalate issues promptly.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, communication, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.
