Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver exceptional service; manage inventory and compliance; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; partner on events.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; prioritize safety and operational efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, financial oversight, and pet care passion. Strong communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills required to thrive in a dynamic pet retail environment.
