Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; handle concerns; conduct compliance walks; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Analyze performance, execute corporate strategies, achieve profitability goals, and communicate objectives to the team.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership in high-volume settings, pet industry knowledge, and skills in financial oversight, team motivation, and operational excellence. Proficiency in customer service, conflict resolution, and data-driven decision-making is essential.
