Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, conduct reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage customer interactions; conduct safety walks; oversee inventory and events.
- Business Management: Analyze performance, execute strategies for profitability, communicate objectives, and maintain compliance.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, financial oversight, customer service, and operations. Key skills include delegation, conflict resolution, pet safety knowledge, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced pet retail environment.
