Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, strategies, and values while delivering exceptional service and efficient daily execution.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture with recognition and feedback.
• Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory, events, and compliance; review cameras for safety and coaching.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; prioritize safe environments and process improvements.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and motivation, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
