Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; build open-door culture; manage scheduling, reviews, and recognition.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver outstanding pet parent service; resolve concerns.
- Operations & Compliance: Lead monthly walks, inventory management, safety protocols; review cameras for coaching; handle sick pets.
- Financial & Strategic: Communicate objectives, improve processes, partner on events, maintain standards.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, pet care knowledge, and financial acumen. Excel in delegation, feedback response, and creating positive environments. Passion for pets and customer service required.

65,000 - 85,000 CAD / yearly

- Ensure exceptional pet parent service and resolve escalations
- Conduct safety walks, inventory checks, and compliance audits
