Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, performance reviews, training, and succession planning. Build an open-door culture, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers. Lead pet parent interactions, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, review cameras for safety, and partner on community events.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, optimize processes, communicate objectives, and execute corporate strategies.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership in high-volume environments, proficiency in team development and customer service, and knowledge of pet retail operations. Key skills include financial acumen, problem-solving, delegation, and fostering engagement in dynamic settings.
