Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver exceptional service; conduct safety walks; manage inventory and compliance; review cameras for accountability.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze metrics and root causes; communicate objectives; partner on events and community initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, P&L responsibility, customer service, and operations. Passion for pets, strong communication, adaptability, and ability to thrive in dynamic settings are essential. Flexible availability required.
