Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, and deliver exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead customer interactions; maintain standards via monthly walks; manage inventory and events; prioritize safety.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; review cameras for coaching.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership, customer focus, and operational expertise. Key skills include team building, financial acumen, problem-solving, and pet passion. Flexible availability required.
