Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, deliver reviews, and foster engagement through open-door culture and recognition.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; handle pet parent concerns; conduct Core and Services Walks; manage inventory and compliance.
- Business Management: Analyze performance, execute strategies for profitability, communicate objectives, review cameras for safety, and lead openings/closings.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership to empower teams, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Skills in delegation, conflict resolution, process improvement, and community partnering are essential. Flexibility for varied schedules required.
