Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) oversees all store functions including safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop, and recognize associates; handle reviews, grievances, and succession planning; foster open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and parents; manage customer interactions; conduct safety walks and camera reviews; oversee openings/closings and events.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze metrics; manage inventory; communicate objectives; partner on community initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer focus, and pet passion. Key skills include team building, operational execution, financial acumen, compliance, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling is essential.
