Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, performance reviews, and succession planning. Build an open-door culture, address grievances, and boost engagement through recognition.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards via monthly walks, manage inventory, review cameras for compliance, and collaborate on events with adoption groups.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance metrics, communicate objectives, and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, proven leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a passion for team development. Flexibility for varied shifts is essential.
