Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; address grievances and boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets and exceptional service; manage escalations, events, compliance; conduct walks, camera reviews, and vet transports as needed.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, optimize inventory, communicate objectives, and adapt to changes.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building, customer focus, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include delegation, problem-solving, process improvement, and fostering empowerment. Flexible scheduling required.
