Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, deliver exceptional service, and execute strategies to uphold our vision, mission, and values while achieving targeted business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build engagement through open communication and recognition.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; lead customer service across channels; conduct safety walks; manage inventory and compliance; partner on events and adoptions.
- Business Management: Analyze performance metrics; execute corporate strategies; drive profitability; review security footage for coaching; handle pet welfare issues promptly.
Experience & Skills
