Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while driving results, exceptional service, and efficient daily execution.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; lead pet parent interactions, conduct safety walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for compliance.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance, optimize processes, and collaborate on events with adoption groups.
