Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions; ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; conduct monthly walks; maintain inventory and compliance.
- Operations & Financials: Collaborate on events; review cameras for safety; communicate objectives; respond to changing priorities.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial savvy, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, problem-solving, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Maintain inventory levels & conduct safety walks
- Drive store standards, compliance, & community partnerships
- Monitor cameras, address risks, & handle pet welfare issues
