Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, deliver exceptional service, and execute daily business efficiently while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, performance reviews, training, and associate engagement to build high-performing teams.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain store standards, conduct compliance walks, manage inventory, and foster a positive environment.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance metrics, communicate objectives, review security footage for coaching, and partner on community events.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and development, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
