Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open-door culture and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent and associate experiences; ensure pet safety; resolve concerns; maintain standards via walks and audits; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; prioritize safety and compliance.
Experience & Skills

- Manage inventory, scheduling, and compliance with policies/procedures
- Conduct store walks, camera reviews, and safety audits
- Drive business goals through strategic execution and process improvements
- Collaborate on events and community partnerships
- Handle pet welfare issues including vet transport if needed
- Analyze performance metrics and cascade objectives to team
