Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; foster open-door culture; handle reviews, recognition, and grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets; deliver exceptional service; conduct Core and Services Walks; manage inventory and compliance; review cameras for safety.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer focus, and operational expertise. Passion for pets, flexibility for varied schedules, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment required. Experience in pet retail a plus.
