Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while driving targeted results, exceptional service, and efficient daily execution.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture with recognition and feedback response.
• Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; prioritize safety; oversee inventory and camera reviews; handle openings/closings.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; collaborate on events and adoption partnerships; maintain policy compliance.
