Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) oversees all store functions including safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; manage pet parent interactions; lead events and compliance walks; prioritize safety; review cameras for coaching.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; maintain inventory; communicate objectives to team.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team building, operational efficiency, problem-solving, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
