Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, customer experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, drive targeted outcomes, and ensure seamless execution of daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and foster an open-door culture with high engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain store standards, conduct compliance walks, and manage inventory levels.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance metrics, communicate objectives, and partner on community events.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership skills, customer service expertise, and financial acumen. Key competencies include team building, operational efficiency, conflict resolution, and a passion for pets. Flexible scheduling is essential.
