Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture and strategies, achieve key targets, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding our vision, mission, values, and ethical standards in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and manage team performance; build open-door culture; create schedules; facilitate training, reviews, and succession planning; recognize achievements.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent and associate experiences; ensure pet safety; resolve concerns; conduct Core and Services Walks; prioritize safety and compliance.
• Operations & Financials: Manage inventory, review cameras for risk assessment, communicate objectives, and collaborate on events with adoption groups.

Experience & Skills

Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, and operations. Key skills include financial oversight, conflict resolution, inventory control, and fostering engagement. Passion for pets and ability to thrive in a fast-paced store setting essential. Experience in pet retail highly preferred.
