Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; lead pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks; manage inventory and compliance.
• Operations & Financials: Drive sales results; review cameras for safety; collaborate on events; communicate objectives and adapt to changes.

Experience & Skills

Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, financial oversight, problem-solving, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.
