Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; handle reviews, grievances, and engagement initiatives.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage customer interactions, events, compliance, inventory, and safety protocols including vet transports.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and optimize processes.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 5+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, P&L management, and pet industry knowledge. Strong communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills required to thrive in a dynamic store setting.

- Ensure exceptional pet parent service and compliance with policies
- Manage inventory, scheduling, and business objectives
- Conduct safety walks, camera reviews, and respond to pet health issues
