Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent and associate experiences; ensure pet safety; conduct Core and Services Walks; manage inventory and compliance; review cameras for safety.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and community initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, and skills in P&L management, customer service, and team motivation. Flexibility for varied shifts is essential.
