Role Overview
As Retail Store Manager in Sudbury, Ontario, you'll provide leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, and terminations. Build open-door culture, engage associates, facilitate development, delegate effectively, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
Overall Store Experience
Lead associate and pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, resolve concerns, improve processes, partner on events, maintain standards, conduct walks, prioritize safety, manage inventory, communicate objectives, monitor cameras, and handle pet health issues.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with retail management experience, team building expertise, customer service excellence, financial acumen, and pet care passion. Strong communication, problem-solving, and compliance skills required to thrive in dynamic store environment.

- Ability to drive sales and achieve financial targets (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee all store operations including safety, customer experience, and financial results
- Lead recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Ensure exceptional pet parent service and resolve escalated concerns
- Conduct store walks, monitor cameras, and maintain compliance with policies
- Foster associate engagement through recognition, training, and open communication
- Manage inventory, events, and partnerships with adoption groups
- Prioritize safety for associates, pets, and customers
