Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and parents; manage escalations; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory and camera reviews; partner on events.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; maintain compliance with policies and ethics.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must thrive in dynamic environments, delegate effectively, and prioritize safety and engagement.
