Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture and strategies, champion exceptional service, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain store standards, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for compliance.
- Operations & Financials: Collaborate on events, communicate objectives, prioritize safety, and respond to pet health issues.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in financial oversight, compliance, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all store operations including safety, customer experience, and financial performance
- Lead recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, and performance reviews for associates
- Ensure exceptional pet parent service and resolve escalated concerns
- Conduct monthly store walks, inventory management, and compliance checks
- Foster company culture, associate engagement, and succession planning
- Monitor store cameras, address safety issues, and manage pet health emergencies
