Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve key results, champion service excellence, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; conduct reviews, recognize achievements, and resolve grievances to build an engaged team.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver exceptional service, manage escalations, conduct safety walks, monitor cameras, and maintain inventory standards.
• Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, optimize processes, partner on events, and communicate objectives to achieve financial goals.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and development, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
