Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values in Thunder Bay.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, conduct reviews, and build an open-door culture using Voice of Associate feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and pet parents; handle concerns, lead events, and maintain policy compliance via monthly walks.
- Operations & Finance: Manage inventory, communicate objectives, review cameras for safety, and take action on pet health issues.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, pet care knowledge, and ability to deliver results. Key skills include delegation, conflict resolution, process improvement, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced pet retail setting.
