Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture with recognition and feedback.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain store standards, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, and prioritize safety for associates, pets, and customers.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and collaborate on events like community adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership in high-volume environments, passion for pets, and skills in team motivation, financial oversight, and customer service. Flexibility for varied shifts is essential.
