Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, strategies, and values while delivering exceptional service and efficient daily execution in our Tucker location.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage customer interactions, events, and compliance via monthly walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze data, optimize inventory, and communicate objectives to drive results.
Experience & Skills

- Manage inventory, conduct store walks, and maintain compliance with policies
- Drive business goals through strategic execution and data analysis
- Prioritize safety for associates, pets, and customers; review cameras and address risks
- Collaborate on in-store events and community partnerships
- Create schedules, facilitate training, and deliver associate reviews on time
- Handle store opening/closing and immediate pet health responses
