Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
• Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; manage pet parent interactions; lead events and compliance walks; prioritize safety and inventory standards; review cameras for coaching.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; optimize processes for efficiency.
