Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and respond to feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead pet parent interactions; maintain standards via monthly walks; prioritize safety; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze metrics and root causes; communicate objectives; review cameras for coaching; handle pet emergencies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, operations, and financials. Passion for pets, strong decision-making, and ability to thrive in dynamic environments essential. Flexible availability required.
