Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, customer experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision by delivering exceptional service, optimizing daily execution, and building a high-performing team in a fast-paced pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, conduct reviews, and foster an open-door culture with recognition and feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead customer interactions, resolve concerns, maintain standards via walks, and manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Achieve profitability goals, analyze metrics, execute strategies, monitor cameras for compliance, and handle emergencies like pet transport.
Experience & Skills
