Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, conduct reviews, and foster open-door engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and customers; resolve concerns; lead events and compliance walks.
- Operations & Finance: Manage inventory, communicate objectives, review cameras for safety, and respond to pet health issues.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial savvy, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, conflict resolution, and driving results in fast-paced environments.
